The New Zealand Italian Festival

For the past 16 years, the New Zealand Italian Festival has been the biggest event for the Italian Community in Wellington. It is a project developed by Club Garibaldi with the contribution of all Club Members.
It is the love and passion of these people, their desire to celebrate Italy and its culture with all the other communities in Wellington that have made the Festival such a successful event. La Bella Italia has been very proud to be a sponsor of the Festival for the last few years.

The 2011 New Zealand Italian Festival

The 2011 Italian Festival in New Zealand was on 6th November, at the Westpac Stadium. After 2010's great success, the 2011 Festival was bigger and better - more exhibitors, more shows, more room! Check The New Zealand Italian Festival website for more information.

New Festival Venue starting from 2010

For the year 2010, the The New Zealand Italian Festival was relocated to the Westpac Stadium. This decison was taken as the festival has outgrown its traditional home.

The Festival was held on Sunday 26 September 2010 and drew crowds of 6,000 - 8,000. It showcased the best in Italian food, beverages, products and services. There were also a fashion show and a display of fine Italian cars.
